The Cocoa Plum was designed with an open plan, facilitating a shared space between the dining room, kitchen, living room, and entertainment space. Our wide, open windows allow our guests to admire both the backyard flora and the Banana River throughout the living spaces, immersing you within the beauty Florida's natural environment. We are located in a quiet neighborhood nestled in the heart of Cocoa Beach, mere minutes from Ron John's and other prominent destinations in the area. Our driveway is quite spacious and can accommodate ~4 vehicles. We can accommodate trailers as well, but they must be parked on the gravel (parking on the road is prohibited). The Cocoa Plum is ideal for family's, friends, or couples looking for both a quaint and peaceful vacation, or conversely, a more active, adventurous one, with guests having the ability to dock boats (up to 26 feet in length), jet-skis, and kayaks in the backyard, providing instant access to Banana River and the various tropical islands within. Fishing, too, is allowed on the dock and throughout the river. And if you desire the open ocean, the Port Canaveral lock is ~15 minutes away by boat. The backyard paradise, intentionally designed to maintain Florida’s unique environment, also includes a remodeled pool which can be heated, allowing our guests to enjoy it year round. ------------------------------------------------------- KEY FEATURES: 👉 3 Complete Bedrooms - Master Bedroom: - Walk-In Closet, King-Sized Mattress, Luxurious Sheets & Comforter, Blackout Curtains, Full Length Mirror, Hamper, Bathrobe, Luggage Rack and spare Blanket - Bedroom Two: - A spacious Closet, King-Sized Mattress, Luxurious Sheets & Comforter, Blackout Curtains, Hamper, Luggage Rack and spare Blanket. - Children’s Room: - A Bunk Bed with Full Sized Mattresses (with an additional Twin Sized Pull-out / Trundle Bed), Play-Space for children with Toys, Coloring Books, Crayons, and Stuffed Animals, a spacious Closet, and a spare Blanket. 👉 2 Complete Bathrooms - Master Bathroom: - With a separate Soaking Bathtub, Walk in Double Shower with multiple shower heads, Hair Dryer, Curling Iron, Flat Iron, Hand Towels, Bath Towels, and 2 Bathrobes. - This bathroom is connected to the master and grants access to the backyard / pool area. - Bathroom Two: - With Shower, Hair Dryer, Hand Towels, and Bath Towels. This bathroom is located in the hall, which is where you will find the entrances to all of the bedrooms. 👉 Living Room: - With a Flat screen Television, Two Couches, Pillows, Blanket, and Sofa Bed. 👉 Entertainment Space: - With a Flat screen Television, Sonos Sound System, Foosball Table, Board Games, Ukulele, and Books (including history on our area’s rich history). 👉 Complete Kitchen: - With Oven, Microwave, Keurig Coffee System & Traditional Coffee Maker (with complimentary K-cups & coffee grounds), Rice Cooker, Blender, & Crockpot, Small Food Processor, Full-Sized Refrigerator & Freezer, Plastic Storage Containers, Dishes, Kid's Dishes, Stovetop, and complimentary Spices and Oils (Olive, Vegetable, etc.). - Additional Garbage Bags, Dish Soap, Paper Towels, & Dish Soap are provided. 👉 Laundry Room: - With a Full Sized Washer & Dryer, Iron & Ironing Board, and Complementary Detergent & Softener. 👉 Dining Table: - With a Complete Dining Set, Utensils, Plates, Towels, etc. 👉 Workspace / Office: - With High-Speed WiFi (100 MBPS), Power Strip with outlets and USB ports, and a HP Printer 👉 Backyard / Pool Area: - With Heated Pool (to heat is an additional $25 per night), Outdoor Picnic Table with Outdoor Umbrella, Six Lounge Chairs, Outdoor Couches, BBQ Grill (guests must provide their own propane), lush landscaping and tropical trees. - Beach & Pool Towels are available, found in the Entertainment Space. - A Cornhole set is available for use, located in the garage. 👉 Dock on the River: - With a Boat Slip (which you can use for your personal watercraft), Two Dock Chairs, Space for Fishing (with fishing poles, bait, and tackle available for your use), Swimming, a view of the mangroves and a chance to see our beautiful marine and bird life, such as dolphins & manatees. - Also a great place to watch rocket launches or view the night stars. Dock is lined with motion activated lights at night, allowing you to better watch your step. - The canal is connected to the Banana River, giving you access to a wide variety of marine activities (such as fishing, jet-skiing, kayaking, and boating) boat side food establishments, islands to explore, and access to the open ocean through the Cape Canaveral lock, opening you up to the true fun, adventure, and beauty of Cocoa Beach. - Also, depending on the season, the river lights up with bioluminescence, which is truly the most unique aspect of the Banana River. 👉 Additional Amenities: - Beach Cart, with 4 Beach Chairs, a Cooler, and Beach Bag, making walks to the beach a breeze. - Outdoor Dining Set for use on the Picnic Bench, allowing you to enjoy a meal in the Florida Sun. - Complimentary Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hair Brushes, Men & Women’s Deodorant & Razors, Toothbrush & Toothpaste, and, last but not least, cookies! - You may bring a pet, but MUST pay a $200 flat rate (pet’s raise the demand on our cleaning crew exponentially). - Doggie bags for your pet are also available upon request. 👉 All Additional Services We Offer - $200 pet fee, with up to 2 pets allowed in total. - $25 Pool Heating fee per night (you may have the pool heated for any number of days you please, and may decide this option during your stay - but it takes 24 hours to reach the desired temperature 👉 Additional Information: - Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, ensuring you stay cool in the Florida sun. - Cocoa Beach allows street legal golf carts, making trips to the beach a breeze as well as offering a unique and fun experience of our local area. We can give our recommendations for rental companies upon request. - There are many guided tours in the area, ranging from bioluminescent kayaking tours at night to dolphin tours on the open ocean. Rules: - Smoking is not allowed on the premises. - Outdoor music is prohibited between 11:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. (ordinance of the City of Cocoa Beach). - Trash is collected on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you could please take out the trash can to the end of the driveway on these days, it would be much appreciated. - Look out for and do not disturb sea turtle nests when walking or enjoying the beach; if hatchlings are observed, leave them alone and make sure all light sources are extinguished. When checking out, we only ask you to do a few small things: - Please set the thermostat to 80 degrees. - Please lock all the doors. - Please strip all used beds of their sheets and put them in a pile in the hallway. - Please put all dirty towels in the hallway. - Please run dirty dishes in dishwasher.
